"Emergency" snacks for various situations

You sit at your place and suddenly hear a ring at the door-bell. You are quite surprised as you don’t expect anyone. You open the door and you notice colleagues that apparently make up their mind to pay you an unannounced visit. You haven’t seen your friends quite long so you are glad they are at your place. But at the same time, you desperately try to think of anything you could treat your guest with. You are sure you don’t possess all ingredients to cook something nice to eat now.

And what is even more relevant – you don’t have much time as guests are already here. Certainly, they cannot expect you to be prepared for an unannounced visit. On the contrary, it would be so much nicer to have something tasty to eat.

I am sure you know this scene. I have had that situation many times before. Therefore, I make up my mind to do anything to change it. Nevertheless, there was always 1 huge problem about having “emergency” snacks - snack pellet. I have 2 kids so they always consume snacks shortly after I buy them. I was trying to hide them for a moment but all parents are aware how laughable it is and that kids always manage to find snacks anyway. No matter where you put them. Subsequently, when unannounced guests come, I still had nothing to offer to my guests.

More then 10 years earlier, thousands of Polish people move out abroad, especially to the United Kingdom. They're looking for proper work, cause because of partnership in EU, it was at least legal for them.

One time my friend has visited. When we were having a tea, I was trying to find earlier hidden sweets. Initially my friend laughed at me but then she shared with me an amazing idea I hadn’t thought about (next) previously. She mentioned snackpellet. Why was this so great for me? Because they are semi-finished products. I keep them in the kitchen and I can be sure that it is still there when needed – when unexpected guests come. My teenagers don’t eat them straight after I buy it, as it was with other snacks previously. Why? If they want to consume snack pellet, they have to prepare it first - see more about snackpellet.

And my children just don’t cook if they don’t have to. They are always willing to reach for ready snacks, but if they have to cook them by themselves – they are not so eager anymore. For me it is even superior – thanks to the fact that I have to prepare snack pellet before serving it to my friends, I can offer them not only fresh but also warm snack. And it requires just a few minutes to prepare!
