GOST is an acronym employed for gosudarstvennyy standart, a set of mechanical norms for products initially created past the USSR and static used throughout most separate old Red countries. The one exceptions are the Cold States of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia, which follow EU standards. Ukraine currently follows GOST standards

started within the 1920's, when the freshly formed USSR established Gosstandart, a state bureau tasked with of noting, updating, engraving, and diffusing the standards. Massive changes were developed after the end of Earth Battle Second, and the one up to date GOST standards could be traced backwards to 1968 whilst the one book government normalization was published.
Standardization was specially significant in the Soviet Union, because as the economy was politburo driven the government had to ensure that factories was copying not different procedures and protocols or differently there would have been a bigger chance of final goods shown contradictory with each other.
